Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager within a small team, you will be responsible for providing fortnightly payroll services to the wider SwanCare group.  This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a willingness to learn, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to superior customer service.

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • End to end payroll processes including data entry, calculations and disbursements.
  • Processing leave applications and employee deductions.
  • Processing and calculating termination payments.
  • Transferring pay data from terminal to financial institutions.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for payroll queries.
  • Assisting with end of month and end of year processes.

Desired Skills and Experience

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a similar payroll position.
  • Experience working in aged care or healthcare environment (desirable).
  • Working knowledge of Chris 21 (desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance.
