Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will lead the Maintenance team to ensure that services provided to our valued residents and staff are delivered safely, with exceptional quality, and with a positive attitude. 
We are seeking a motivated individual who can champion continuous improvement, ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, and support the ongoing development of the Maintenance team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees and triages work requests.
  • Conducts regular audits and reporting on routine maintenance and servicing required under legislation.
  • Looks for efficiencies and ways to improve maintenance services.
  • Coordinates emergency / after hours maintenance requirements.
  • Leads and manages the Maintenance team including performance and development.

Desired Skills and Experience

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role leading a team (essential).
  • Trade qualification (highly desirable).
  • High level of leadership, problem solving skills and eye for detail.
  • Confident in the use of various software packages and mobile devices.
  • High level of communication skills both written and verbal.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Current Influenza Statement and Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable).
