Job Description
About the Role:
As the Systems Administrator, you will support, develop and maintain all internal, hosted and virtualised IT systems and infrastructure alongside SwanCare’s outsourced IT support providers. You will have coverage across network, systems and applications administration. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and core IT systems.
Coordinate IT related projects.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Ensure continuity and security of systems through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
Support end users with technical issues and service requests.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT processes and infrastructure.
Assist with budget preparation and implementation.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Role Requirements:
You will be proactive and technically skilled and enjoy solving complex problems, improving systems, creating efficiencies and supporting our dynamic workforce.
Tertiary degree in Information Technology.
Proven high level systems administrator experience.
Possess skills and competencies aligned to Level 4 of the SFIA framework.
Highly proficient in Windows 10/11, Windows 2019/2022, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory and Corporate Networks.
Strong understanding of corporate grade networking including LANs, WANs, Firewalls.
Experience with VMWare/Hyper-V virtualisation systems.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and completed ITIL v3 or v4 foundations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Permanent working rights in Australia.
National Police Certificate.
Working rights within Australia.
