About the Role:

Following the upcoming retirement of our current Care Services Manager, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Services Manager to lead care delivery at our Waminda Care Centre. Reporting to the Head of Residential Care, you will provide overall leadership and management of care services, leading and developing clinical and care teams to deliver exceptional, person-centred care that meets regulatory, organisational, and community standards.

This role suits an exceptional leader with a strong background in residential aged care or a similar setting, outstanding people management capability, and a genuine passion for high-quality resident care.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of the nursing and caring philosophy and objectives at the care centre.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and standards of practice for the care centre in liaison with the Executive Team.
• Contributes to generic policies as required within the organisation.
• Participates through memberships on relevant committees in overall management planning for the care centre.
• Applies relevant aspects of current legislation, polices and regulations to the management of the care centre.
• Complies with relevant legislation, policies, and the nursing code of ethics.
• Contributes to selecting appropriate strategies to maintain optimal services for residents, in particular, achievement of Aged Care Quality Standards
